I hold a Diploma in Photography with a focus on Documentary and Artistic Photography and have spent my career working as a professional photographer for renowned magazines and publications.

This background has shaped the way I approach weddings. It taught me to anticipate moments before they unfold, to tell stories visually, and to observe every scene with intention and sensitivity.

Drawing inspiration from design, fashion, cinema, music, literature, and fine art, I bring an artistic perspective and a strong creative intuition to every wedding.

My goal is to offer couples an editorial-inspired perspective through photographs that feel thoughtful, refined, and emotionally present without feeling overly directed. I preserve the natural rhythm of the day while translating genuine moments into imagery with a timeless magazine sensibility.

My Approach & Philosophy

What draws you to wedding photography?

I love being part of a wedding day while remaining quietly in the background. As a photographer, I am always both within the scene and slightly outside of it: present enough to feel the energy of the celebration, yet removed enough to observe the moments, connections, and small gestures that often go unnoticed.

I truly enjoy this balance of being immersed and observing at the same time. It allows me to experience the rhythm of the day while preserving fleeting moments in a way that feels honest, thoughtful, and personal.

How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my style as loose editorial: rooted in documentary storytelling, with an editorial edge that embraces spontaneity, honesty, and a subtle sense of rawness. My approach combines authentic moments with thoughtful composition, creating imagery that feels effortless, refined, and contemporary.

Do we need to be comfortable in front of the camera?

Not at all. Many of my couples tell me they are not used to being photographed or feel a little unsure in front of the camera. My role is to create a relaxed environment where you can feel comfortable and present with each other.

While I love capturing spontaneous moments as they naturally unfold, I also offer gentle guidance when needed. Whether it is during portraits or throughout the day, I help you feel at ease without turning the experience into a performance. The goal is for your photographs to feel natural, personal, and true to who you are.

What makes your approach different from traditional wedding photography?

I am not interested in staged romanticism or idealized portrayals of love. I see weddings not as carefully constructed narratives, but as complex human stories filled with atmosphere, personality, and meaningful connections.

I am drawn to a more nuanced and contemporary way of portraying love. Rather than following traditional wedding clichés or predefined roles, I focus on the individuality of each couple, their connection with each other, and the relationships that surround them. The bonds between friends and family, the chosen family we build around ourselves, and the small interactions that unfold throughout the day are an essential part of the story.

My goal is to create photographs that feel artistic and timeless while remaining deeply connected to the people and the experience behind them.

How do you approach a wedding day?

Every wedding begins with careful preparation. I take the time to understand the location, the atmosphere you envision, and the moments that are most meaningful to you. This allows me to approach the day with intention while remaining open to everything that unfolds naturally.

On the wedding day itself, I work in an observant and intuitive way, sensitive to the rhythm and energy of the day while anticipating moments as they naturally unfold. I believe in giving people space to be fully present, while stepping in with gentle guidance whenever it is needed.

My goal is to create a balance between being a thoughtful presence and allowing the day to unfold authentically.

Do you also photograph weddings on film?

Yes. I combine digital and analog photography to create a complete and cohesive wedding gallery. Having been trained in analog photography, film has always been part of my photographic language. I use it thoughtfully alongside digital images to add another layer of texture, character, and visual depth.

What do you look for when photographing a wedding?

I look for the moments that often go unnoticed: a quiet glance between friends, a parent’s expression during a meaningful moment, laughter shared across a room, or a small gesture of affection.

While you are fully immersed in your wedding day, I observe the many stories unfolding around you. My aim is to capture these layers of connection, atmosphere, and personality, creating a visual story that allows you to discover moments you may have missed and revisit the unique character of your celebration for years to come.

Do you create posed portraits as well?

Absolutely. Creating portraits is one of the parts of wedding photography I enjoy most. This is where my editorial background comes into play: creating images with intention, composition, and a strong sense of atmosphere while still allowing people to feel like themselves.

I offer gentle guidance throughout the process, helping you feel comfortable without creating stiff or overly directed poses. I also enjoy photographing guests in this way when desired, creating portraits that reflect their personalities and the energy of the celebration.

For me, a complete wedding story includes both spontaneous moments and thoughtfully composed images that become part of the visual narrative of the day.
