The Wedding of Isa & Max

Isa and Max, a Berlin-based couple, gathered their family, friends, a whole constellation of artists, musicians and creative souls in Puglia to celebrate their wedding under the Italian sun and deep into the moonlit hours.

There is something particularly meaningful to me about celebrating with your chosen family. The people who have shaped your life, who know you deeply, and who make the places you call home feel even more like home. Isa and Max created exactly that kind of gathering: generous, creative, effortless and entirely their own.

I couldn’t be more grateful to have been there to witness and photograph these days, surrounded by so much energy, friendship and togetherness. Captured digital and on 35mm film.

Their weekend began with a relaxed get-together at a local wine bar in a small town nearby. It was a chance for everyone to step away from their everyday lives, reconnect with each other and ease into the warm, familiar atmosphere. A joyful beginning, setting the tone for an effortless and meaningful wedding weekend.

The main day began with the Getting Ready and a First Look under an old olive tree at Masseria Angiulli Piccolo. For their ceremony, Isa and Max chose a small, charming local church. Led by an Italian priest, the ceremony felt warm, intimate, and deeply genuine.

Afterwards, we snuck away for a little while to take some couple portraits on the way back to the masseria surrounded by the warm Puglian landscape.
